ESPERANZA IS BUILT ON KINSHIP
Homelessness is almost always the result of somebody losing their support system. Whether it is family, friends, neighbors, church, or social security, when the safety net crumbles... People end up on the streets. By supporting the Esperanza Community, you have the opportunity to stop this crisis in its tracks.
The Esperanza Community is an extremely low-barrier shelter where unhoused people are met with kinship, and offered the opportunity to get out of the elements and work through TOOF programming to find stable housing. You're invited to join TOOF in building a place where people are met with open minds, open hearts, and open arms.

When construction is complete, the Esperanza Community will:
- Support 200-300 people at a time as they work toward housing
- Offer an array of supportive services
- Help people become housing-ready by offering central gathering areas for people to engage in neighborly, communal activity.
Each Esperanza Community member is offered:
- A locking, climate controlled shelter
- Mental/physical health care
- Work opportunities
- Highly personalized support and housing navigation
All donations to the Esperanza Community will go to offer shelter, opportunity, and support to members of this transformative community. Look below to see yearly sponsorships at various levels that will ensure reliable services for our unhoused neighbors.
