This Giving Tuesday – cover the cost of community members for one year

Your donation provides shelter, job opportunities, and hope to those experiencing homelessness in our community.

At The Other Ones Foundation, we provide life-changing care and support to people experiencing homelessness in Austin, TX. This vital work is only possible with your help. By giving this Giving Tuesday, you’ll fund a full year of care, services, and transformative programs for a resident of our Esperanza Community. Our goal is to raise $50,000 on December 3 and cover the needs of 5 new community members! Will you join us?

Support Pathways to Hope

At The Other Ones Foundation, we’re committed to creating pathways out of homelessness and into stable, dignified housing. This can only happen when we take a holistic approach to care for our community members. The Esperanza Community and our programs look at the needs of the whole person and create personalized plans to fit their needs. With these plans, we can see our neighbors on paths to hope, stability, and success.

Individualized Shelter

Individualized shelter offers a safe, dignified space for community members to begin rebuilding their lives. Our non-congregant, transitional shelters enable us to provide comprehensive, person-centered care.

Low-Barrier Work Opportunities

Our Workforce First program creates paid, dignified work opportunities for those experiencing homelessness, helping build self-worth and stability as they transition to permanent housing.

Vocational Skills Training

Our Vocational Skills Training program equips individuals with practical, hands-on skills across various trades, enhancing their employability and empowering them with essential tools for a stable, self-sufficient future.
